About Rehbar Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbi Medical College
The Rehbar Foundation (Regd.) was established in 2008 by a group of well known Doctors, Educationists & Social Figures, who were motivated by a strong spirit of social responsibilities & commitments. Apart from the Social commitments involved in aims & objectives, the ultimate aim of the society is to establish educational institutes to cater the drastic & challenging needs of the Minorities & other Weaker Sections of Society.
Keeping in view the need of the region and to contribute for meaningful employment for girls & minority section of the society & development of Medical, Nursing & Health Education in Punjab, the Foundation established “Rehbar Institute of Medical Sciences at Bhawanigarh” in the year 2008-09 with D.Pharmacy (Ayurvedic) & added GNM & ANM courses in the year 2009-10 and Rehbar Ayurvedic Unani Tibbi Medical College in 2013.

Being a medical professional always it was my dream to provide a quality of medical education to the society. From a very beginning of my effort, I have started Nursing & Paramedical Courses under Rehbar Foundation in the year of 2008. Rehbar Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbi Medical College Bhawanigarh situated in state of five rivers named Punjab. Our institution has grown many development and achievement in many directions reached up to the present stage since it was started 2016 at Rehbar Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbi Medical College be cater to need of high quality Unani Medicine Education & Teaching. And we wish to students to develop as a complete Doctor/Hakim with full of sympathy & empathy for the suffering humanity. There are two objective of Medical Education to heal the sick and advance the science. Our college leverage to provide medical education focus on preparing physician of tomorrow. We have a dedicated and highly qualified teaching faculties who have every step are ready to counsel the student and inbuilt system of continuous internal assessment help the student to keep abreast with teaching & self evaluation sports and recreational facilities provide students & opportunity to deal stress & relax. Well equipped laboratories for student’s high state of art investigating facility of pathology and radiology. There is a big library of large no. of books & journals. Hostel provides good accommodation facilities. We care for good health and over all development. I am sure that a large no. Of students will find Rehbar Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbi Medical College as a choice for achieving their academic excellence. In the 21tyh century with the progress of Medical Science people in general are living more year & mortality from infectious diseases but the rapid industrialization and proliferation of technology produce negative effect on our health. The requirements of doctors for treating the sick and doing research over this newer disease. It is the prime motive of the present medical society and our country.
As a Principal I am proud to lead our institution committed to improve the health care to our society through the Unani system of medicine and also committed to separate and establish the scope Unani system of Medicine in the present scenario with our National Health System with best wishes.
